Your Map to Optimal Wellbeing
In traditional Indigenous culture, wellness involved a balance of spiritual, emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. Today, many pockets of Western medicine are, too, integrating knowledge from across disciplines to help people heal, transform and operate at their peak potential.

This session will explore:
  • How ancient wisdom can be integrated into current ways of being.
  • New ways to think about your wellness potential.
  • What lies ahead for the future of wellbeing in and beyond medicine.

Accessibly Accessing Your Health & Happiness: Presented by Modo Yoga & The Mat Collective
Sometimes the perception around yoga is that it is only for certain people, certain body types, certain lifestyles, but yoga is for anyone with a body. When we can tap into, and access, the practice in an accessible way, that supports the structure of our bodies, then we can tap into a deeper realm of holistic healing for our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health and well-being. Kristy will guide you through a yoga practice to help stimulate and calm the body, in a way that is accessible and invitational to your personal landscape, so that you can learn to be your own deepest source of health and wellness.

Healing, Visionary Plant Medicines and their Importance for the Future of Humanity
There is a set of plants and plant-derived medicines variously known as entheogens, psychedelics, and empathogens with an ancient history of healing and spiritual use. In recent times these substances have been misunderstood, villified, and oftern misused. However, there is currently a dramatic renaissance of recognition unfolding regarding the potential of these substances for holistic healing of body, mind, and spirit when understood and utilized safely and effectively. The experts on this panel will discuss the problems and promise of this renaissance.

Quiet Leadership

Do you feel overshadowed by your gregarious colleagues?

Do you feel pressured to go against your authentic self to get recognized by clients/prospects or colleagues?

You're not alone - about 50% of all leaders are introverts, yet our working environments favor the extrovert, the outspoken, bold and assertive. These traits have changed our definition of leadership and altered our assumptions about what good performance looks like. And while many studies have shown introverts are natural-born leaders, many business cultures often make it impossible to thrive.

Faris will illustrate how you don't have to be loud to be a great leader and you can be impactful by being soft-spoken, quiet and gentle. This talk is for extroverts as well, as they can gain valuable insight into the introvert's world, allowing them to understand and work more effectively with their introverted colleagues.

Key Takeaways:

✔ Understanding of Quiet Leadership
✔ Quiet leaders traits and strengths
✔ Expose some myths
✔ How to close the communication gap between introverts and extroverts

Paths to Resilience
Pathways to Resiliency

Pax - "What do you think is secretly eroding your resilience?"

Un-Panel Structure
The Un-Panel is an effort to use the same resources and time slot as a normal panel, but incorporate deep audience engagement, interaction and learning. The basic structure is that each panelist will come prepared with one question that they believe defines this area of inquiry or intersection. They will also come prepared to provide a 3 minute explanation of why that question is important (framing). After all the questions are presented, the audience will discuss.

Agenda
Distribute printed questions to each panelist for reference
3 min: Provide overview of the new structure, reasons for it, intention, and how it will work (what to expect)
5 min: Introduce panelists and provide short bios for each
3x5 = 15 min: Each panelist presents their question in succession
iPad is displayed to panelist to keep timing tight
1 min: Each panelist repeats their question
2 min: Audience is given instructions for group discussion
You now have the opportunity to sink your teeth into one of these questions as a group. First and foremost, this is a test of cooperation! Decide as a group which question you want to explore. Then spend 10 minutes discussing. You’re goal is to come up with one question or epiphany that you believe somehow shines light on this question. Write that on your notecard, and then we’ll share at the end.
Questions are publicly displayed on projector (slide) or poster
3 min: Audience breaks up into groups of 3
10-15 min: Audience small group discussion
40-50 min: Audience presents their notecards and discussion with panelists
5-10 min: closing comments from panelists
