There is a set of plants and plant-derived medicines variously known as entheogens, psychedelics, and empathogens with an ancient history of healing and spiritual use. In recent times these substances have been misunderstood, villified, and oftern misused. However, there is currently a dramatic renaissance of recognition unfolding regarding the potential of these substances for holistic healing of body, mind, and spirit when understood and utilized safely and effectively. The experts on this panel will discuss the problems and promise of this renaissance.
